ZAWA SYSTEM ("the Operator"), the operator of Entanow ("the App"), respects your privacy. The App is an entertainment information service focused on the Japan market that lists, searches, and notifies about anime, dramas, and movies. The App does not require user registration (sign-in); user-specific data such as favorites, theme, layout, and notification settings is, in principle, stored on your device only. This policy explains how the App handles personal information and usage data.
To provide the service and improve quality, the App collects and uses the following information.
Title information itself (titles, synopses, posters, scores, etc.) is fetched from external APIs and stored in the Operator's Firestore as a shared cache; this is not information that identifies any individual user.
Collected information is used for the following purposes.
The App uses the third-party services listed below. They fall into two categories: (a) processors that handle user personal data on the Operator's behalf under a service-provider relationship, and (b) external data sources that the Operator's server queries for title information without sending user personal data.
The Operator exercises necessary and appropriate supervision over its processors as required by Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
These external data sources are queried only by the Operator's server (Cloud Functions) for title metadata. No user-identifying information is sent.

Through the third-party services listed above, your personal data may be transferred to the following recipients located outside Japan:
For information on the U.S. personal-information protection regime, see the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan's "Information on personal-information protection systems in foreign countries" (https://www.ppc.go.jp/personalinfo/legal/kaiseihogohou/). Each recipient applies safeguards equivalent to Japan's APPI under their respective privacy policies and standard contractual clauses (SCCs).
In line with the guidelines of Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission, the Operator takes the following measures to prevent leakage, loss, or alteration of personal information.
The App's notification feature delivers device-side local notifications (an OS feature) approximately 10 minutes before broadcast for favorited anime works for which you have explicitly enabled notifications. Notification content is generated on the device, and the Operator does not push notifications from its servers. Notifications require an OS notification permission (on Android 13 and later, a runtime permission). On Android 12 and later, the App may request the exact-alarm permission (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM) to deliver notifications precisely at broadcast time. If the permission is not granted, the App falls back to inexact alarms, which may result in a delay of several minutes.
The App displays advertising via Google AdMob. On iOS, when the App seeks to access the advertising identifier (IDFA), an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission dialog is shown. All features remain usable if you decline, though displayed ads may not be personalized.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Minors aged 13 to 17 should obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before use. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will delete usage information related to that user as promptly as practicable.
The mobile app does not use cookies. Web pages associated with the App (including this page) do not use cookies for analytics or advertising tracking. Operationally necessary cookies may be issued temporarily by infrastructure services such as Firebase Hosting.
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), you may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use or erasure, or suspension of third-party transfer, with respect to personal data the Operator holds about you.
Please contact us using the contact information in the next section. After verifying your identity (or that of your authorized representative) by reasonable means, we will respond promptly in accordance with the APPI and other applicable laws. For requests for disclosure or notification of the purpose of use, we may charge a fee within the scope of actual costs incurred, as permitted by Article 38 of the APPI.
Because the App does not require sign-in and user-specific data is stored only on the device, you can review and delete favorites and settings yourself at any time via in-app operations and uninstallation. For information collected by Firebase Analytics, AdMob, and similar services, opt-out mechanisms provided by each service (e.g., Google account ad settings, iOS App Tracking Transparency, Android advertising-ID reset) may be used.
The Operator may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes (e.g., adding categories of personal information collected, significant changes to recipients of data, substantive expansion of purposes of use, or enabling advertising) will be announced via in-app notice or by updating this page a reasonable period before they take effect. Minor changes (such as editorial corrections, typo fixes, or updates to reference links) take effect upon posting. Continued use of the App after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
